Paint it Red

“Hey, bright eyes,” Davy said with his thick Texas drawl.

“Don't start,” Charlene replied.

“Come on, sugar. Let's paint the town red.”

“She said no,” a deep voice boomed from behind him.

Davy spun around and found himself staring at the broad chest of rugby player Samantha Spinzola.

“I can paint you red,” she offered.

“No thanks,” Davy said as he tipped his hat. “Y’all have a good night.”

“Bye, Felicia,” they said in unison then giggled.

“Thanks, Sam,” Charlene gave her a kiss. “Love you.”

“Love you,” Sam replied. “Let’s go home and paint the bedroom red.”

“Yes, ma’am!”
